It was a penalty for Caseiros! The referee gave Insalde FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diogo Costa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caseiros's David Baptista. 0-1. In the 45th minute, Emanuel Resende made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Santos. Insalde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Reis made a kick off. Manuel Amaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but David Baptista made a huge save. In the 59th minute Insalde FC were awarded a corner. Diogo Costa went to the cornerflag to take it. Insalde FC's Jorge Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Melo in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Emanuel Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caseiros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Caseiros getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Albertino Henriques hit a great ball. Luís Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Baptista having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Insalde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Melo came free, but Jorge Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caseiros's Albertino Henriques got a free kick in the 84th minute. The long shot by Diogo Costa in the 85th minute really tested David Baptista's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Caseiros getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bruno Leão hit a great ball. Alberto Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Baptista having to interfere. Alexandre Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jorge Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Insalde FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
