Armindo Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Soares having to make a save. Rodrigo Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rodrigo Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Moniz's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Nuno Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodrigo Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Forcadas FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Afonso Sousa hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, SC Defeira's goalkeeper Diogo Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Moniz. 58 minutes into the game, SC Defeira's Nuno Borba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 63rd minute Nuno Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Leão fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forcadas FC's protests and gave Alberto Leão a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, SC Defeira's Humberto Ferreira tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Diogo Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Moniz in the 75th minute. Rodrigo Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Borba went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After 83 minutes, Humberto Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Defeira and the Forcadas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Defeira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Adolfo Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Rodrigo Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Defeira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Forcadas FC for a fine match.
