Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Araújo kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Araújo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Ramos saved SC Barroso from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Amaro got free with Amadeu Correia in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Daniel Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Barroso's Fernando Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu Correia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Daniel Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Carlos Araújo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Barroso's Fernando Ramos. Fernando Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emílio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Correia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Daniel Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Ramos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. A collision led to Fernandinho getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hélder Viegas hit a great ball. If Américo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Alexandre Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, SC Barroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Anjos to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Araújo in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Barroso's goalkeeper Fernando Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Amaro scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Araújo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fernando Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fernandinho. Pedro Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Daniel Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Fernandinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Azevedo couldn't finish the play. SC Barroso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Carlos Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Ramos, making the score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fernandinho's zone, Américo Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Correia came out of the goal and Américo Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SC Barroso's Fernando Ramos got control of the ball when Daniel Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernandinho were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after SC Barroso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Gonçalves took the corner. Armando Alves thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fernando Ramos, a very annoying self made goal in the 89th minute which led to 2-3. In the 92nd match minute, Fernandinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. If Emílio Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandinho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
