The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Morais showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Azedia's Sebastião Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SC Azedia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SC Azedia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hugo Anjos hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Filipe Torres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Barbosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute, Filipe Torres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebastião Barbosa, passed just outside the right post. In the 11th minute, Hugo Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílcar Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sebastião Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Azedia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Albertino Castro hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Torres in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílcar Almeida got free with Sebastião Barbosa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Alexandre Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when André Paredes sent off a good shot on target. Rui Baptista's late challenge caught a SC Patudos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes SC Azedia got a freekick which was hit by Rui Baptista. In the 33rd minute Filipe Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Tiago Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filipe Torres came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SC Patudos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Torres couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes SC Patudos got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Neto. Tiago Campos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. David Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Azedia. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51stth minute of the game Filipe Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Azedia's Sebastião Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Filipe Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alexandre Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SC Patudos's David Morais got control of the ball when Alexandre Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tiago Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Paredes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. SC Patudos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
