Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) António Reis succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Catarino Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Moura having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Moniz in the 15th minute of play forced SC Mosteiros's goalkeeper Cláudio Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SC Trute's Amadeu Moniz in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Mosteiros's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Catarino Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Mosteiros's Filipe Coelho got a free kick in the 35th minute. José Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Mosteiros booed when SC Trute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, António Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mosteiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Afonso Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cláudio Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Resende's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Moniz in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Moura saved SC Mosteiros from getting behind. Rui Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Coelho having to interfere. If Amadeu Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, SC Trute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute António Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, José Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Trute's supporters rose to their feet, but José Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Moniz scored 1-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Setúbal got free with Catarino Coelho in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, SC Trute's goalkeeper Catarino Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Campos.
