Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aboleira FC's Duarte Moniz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, António Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Moniz in the 14th minute of play. José Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Vieira having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Adelino Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambezes FC and the Aboleira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, Cambezes FC's goalkeeper Nuno Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Macedo. David Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Aboleira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Paiva came free, but Lucas Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Nuno Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Macedo in the 31st minute. The supporters of Aboleira FC booed when Cambezes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Cambezes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nuno Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adelino Vale was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when David Trindade made the kick off in the second half. Duarte Moniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Vieira having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cambezes FC's zone, Duarte Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Vieira came out of the goal and Duarte Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cambezes FC's David Trindade got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Moniz in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Vieira saved Cambezes FC from getting behind. José Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nuno Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Moniz in the 77th minute of play. José Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lucas Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Nuno Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Moniz in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Oliveira Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambezes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aboleira FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Moniz in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aboleira FC had won after a very even match.
