Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Rocha during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Marrajos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Marrajos's Tiago Rocha got a free kick in the 4th minute. SC Torneira's Alexandre Azevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marrajos. 8 minutes into the match, SC Torneira's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Moura came free, but Gustavo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Paulo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marrajos's Cristiano Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Torneira's zone, Cláudio Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Santos came out of the goal and Cláudio Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cristiano Moura made a huge save. Cristiano Moura made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tomás Viana sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristiano Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Joaquim Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Resende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Santos was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tomás Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Torneira's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marrajos's Joaquim Resende managed to work through SC Torneira's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Joaquim Resende dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Joaquim Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cláudio Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gustavo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Santos made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Joaquim Resende sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of play forced Marrajos's goalkeeper Cristiano Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Marrajos booed when SC Torneira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Joaquim Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrajos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Resende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Rocha got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Marrajos getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tiago Rocha hit a great ball. Fábio Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Paulo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Joaquim Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Santos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Viana in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Moura saved Marrajos from getting behind. After some careless play in the Marrajos defense, Tomás Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Moura. The Marrajos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Moura should have stopped the shot. SC Torneira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
