Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cláudio Moura made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Marrajos's Tiago Rocha got a free kick in the 5th minute. João Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Sousa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, David Coimbra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristiano Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Moura having to interfere. The corner led Palancar's Luís Correia to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristiano Moura despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute, David Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game David Coimbra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marrajos's Cristiano Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Resende during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 39 minutes into the match, Marrajos's goal looked a bit too open when David Coimbra came free, but Cristiano Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Bessa was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Cláudio Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cláudio Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 47 minutes, Oliveira Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palancar and the Marrajos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Palancar got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Dias. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After 56 minutes, Cláudio Moura made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palancar's Gustavo Bessa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Coimbra in the 61st minute of the match. If Joaquim Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fábio Silva's late challenge caught a Palancar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, one of Marrajos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marrajos. Marrajos:s Cristiano Moura showed great skill when he stopped Luís Correia:s penalty. If David Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palancar's Augusto Vale got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marrajos's José Neves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palancar. Palancar's Gustavo Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Resende in the 83rd minute of play. David Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palancar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marrajos.
