Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Queirós started the match with the kick off. Paulo Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catarino Queirós hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Óscar Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Viana in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, João Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torneiros's supporters rose to their feet, but João Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Figueiredo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adelino Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gustavo Santos made a huge save. Óscar Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Figueiredo in the 40th minute of play. SC Torneira's Tomás Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Paulo Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SC Torneira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Tomás Viana scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Torneiros fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Torneiros's João Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute, Gil Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Santos having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Torneiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Queirós to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Torneira's Paulo Figueiredo got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Antunes in the 70th minute of play forced SC Torneira's goalkeeper Gustavo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Óscar Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomás Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Veiga having to interfere. João Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute João Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Torneira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
