Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filipe Costa started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lentisqueira FC booed when SC Achete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Afonso Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Achete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Achete's zone, Armando Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Borges came out of the goal and Armando Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes SC Achete got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Marques. The supporters of SC Achete booed when Lentisqueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Afonso Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Filipe Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Esteves's late challenge caught a Lentisqueira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, SC Achete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Esteves to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lentisqueira FC's Eduardo Pinheiro tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Afonso Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Dantas having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Moniz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Achete's Nuno Esteves got a free kick in the 54th minute. Afonso Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Afonso Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Amadeu Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Achete's goalkeeper Pedro Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Lentisqueira FC booed when SC Achete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Achete's Pedro Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Achete from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SC Achete's Cristóvão Cruz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 76 played minutes Armando Castro rounded SC Achete's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Raul Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Lentisqueira FC's Amadeu Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Maia in the 84th minute of play. Filipe Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Lentisqueira FC's Armando Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Maia took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Dantas. Amadeu Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The Lentisqueira FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Achete from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
