Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Coelho kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Brito in the 7th minute of play forced Salselas's goalkeeper Afonso Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Salselas's Carlos Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Manuel Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Freitas was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Manuel Coelho rounded Samouco FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 27th match minute, Salselas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lima to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Bruno Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salselas and the Samouco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Nuno Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Coelho's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 39th play minutes Carlos Andrade shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Nuno Freitas and just under the crossbar into goal. 44 minutes into the match, José Viegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Assis. Salselas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Viegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Afonso Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Brito in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Viegas to make the kick off. During the 56th minute of the match Bruno Andrade completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bruno Andrade a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 57 played minutes Salselas got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Andrade. Afonso Assis made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when André Brito sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Salselas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cândido Guarda hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Salselas's goalkeeper Afonso Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Brito. The supporters of Samouco FC booed when Salselas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Brito got free with Afonso Assis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Viegas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afonso Assis came out and tried to block the shot, but José Viegas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the game, André Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Afonso Assis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Samouco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
