Bruno Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Afonso Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Pacheco in the 11th minute. If Carlos Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Bruno Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Bruno Borges reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Assis. The goal made the score 1-0. The score was 2-0 after a penalty in the 34th minute, where Pousas FC:s Armando Ribeiro tricked Salselas:s Afonso Assis with a difficult ball by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Alexandre Pacheco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the game, Gustavo Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salselas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pousas FC the free kick. Cândido Guarda's late challenge caught a Pousas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cândido Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pousas FC booed when Salselas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pousas FC's Alexandre Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Coelho made a kick off. Salselas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 64 minutes into the game, Lúcio Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pousas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salselas the free kick. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gustavo Barbosa.
