After 29 played minutes, Moleiro FC's Lourenço Coimbra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basílio Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moleiro FC reached it. Sérgio Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, SC Sorval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Basílio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Gueifão made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Sérgio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Costa having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SC Sorval's Eduardo Coimbra threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sérgio Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, SC Sorval's João Aguiar got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th match minute, Moleiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Simões to maneuver through the defense. If Sérgio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Moleiro FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Coimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Cunha.
