Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, one of SC Burnaria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Burnaria. Hugo Pinheiro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Adelino Assunção came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Aveia's Daniel Matos. But to his dismay, Daniel Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes SC Burnaria got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Vaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Matos in the 18th minute of play forced SC Burnaria's goalkeeper Adelino Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raul Marques came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Burnaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Marques couldn't finish the play. Nuno Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Queirós having to interfere. Nuno Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adelino Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aveia's goalkeeper André Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but André Queirós made a huge save. If Afonso Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, SC Burnaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Assunção having to make a save. Adelino Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino Assunção was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Nuno Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Afonso Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adelino Assunção was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 89th minute, Daniel Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adelino Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Leiria got free with Adelino Assunção in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aveia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
