Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Pacheco kicked off to start the match. When SC Penoucos's Gaspar Pacheco, in the 4th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Penoucos. 6 minutes into the match, SC Penoucos's Basílio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Assunção. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapateira FC's zone, Basílio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Assunção came out of the goal and Basílio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Penoucos booed when Carrapateira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Nascimento in the 20th minute of play. Joel Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Carrapateira FC's Joel Assunção got control of the ball when Basílio Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Joel Assunção managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when SC Penoucos's Basílio Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Eusébio Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Basílio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Assunção. Carrapateira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Joel Assunção didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Jorge Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Carrapateira FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaspar Pacheco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joel Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Costa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Carneiro made a kick off. Joel Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Assunção having to interfere. In the 55th minute, SC Penoucos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusébio Nascimento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th match minute, SC Penoucos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Correia to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Nascimento succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 65th playminute. 70 minutes into the game, Cândido Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Penoucos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrapateira FC the free kick. Cândido Moreira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Gaspar Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Basílio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Assunção saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes, SC Penoucos's Hélder Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Assunção came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Penoucos reached it. When Pedro Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Carrapateira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Carneiro couldn't finish the play. SC Penoucos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carrapateira FC for a fine match.
