Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lúcio Carvalho made the kick off which started today's match. Adelino Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sérgio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Meidelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Carvalho came free, but Francisco Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adelino Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Santa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruno Castro 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, SC Santa's Lúcio Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Carvalho in the 26th minute of the match. Catarino Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Meidelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Aguiar. After 29 minutes, José Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Santa and the Meidelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Santa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. José Alves hit a great ball. Sérgio Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Moutinho in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Castro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Barros saved SC Santa from getting behind. After 44 played minutes SC Santa got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Vale. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes in the game, Lúcio Carvalho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Francisco Sá having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eduardo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Santa's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Carvalho in the 57th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Catarino Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Santa and the Meidelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adelino Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Barros having to interfere. In the 70th minute Bruno Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Barros in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Francisco Sá managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when SC Santa's Eduardo Morais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SC Santa getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eduardo Vale hit a great ball. SC Santa's Sérgio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Barros in the 87th minute of play. Bruno Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sérgio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Santa's Sérgio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Castro in the 94th minute of play. If Adelino Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
