Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruno Castro made the kick off which started today's match. Melides FC's Humberto Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Manuel Torres in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Humberto Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ferreira having to interfere. The supporters of Meidelo FC booed when Melides FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfredo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Castro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Bruno Castro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Meidelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Castro couldn't finish the play. Francisco Sá was a little too slow when Manuel Torres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 30th match minute, Meidelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Castro to maneuver through the defense. The Meidelo FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Meidelo FC's Bruno Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Barros in the 38th minute of play. When Manuel Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melides FC's protests and gave Manuel Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Baptista hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Alfredo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Adolfo Gomes in the 42nd minute really tested Francisco Sá's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Bruno Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Bruno Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Ferreira. Melides FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Manuel Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alfredo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Barros during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Meidelo FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Adelino Barros hit a great ball. Adelino Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Alfredo Ferreira made a huge save. Manuel Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Bruno Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adelino Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Meidelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Vaz. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Meidelo FC's goalkeeper Francisco Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
