In the 32nd minute, Vítor Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Breia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. João Neves struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Diamantino Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breia FC. After a rather tough play, Tarouquela FC's Armindo Paredes got a free kick in the 41st minute. The attack was good, but when Vítor Esteves in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Leal got free with Miguel Moreira in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Esteves struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Diamantino Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breia FC.

62 minutes into the match, Tarouquela FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Ferro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Neves. If Miguel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tarouquela FC's zone, Vítor Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Ferro came out of the goal and Vítor Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
