Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristiano Correia made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Gonçalves in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Marco Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Parelhal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Olo the free kick. In the 16th minute, Marco Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Paiva's late challenge caught a SC Parelhal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Olo's Gil Paiva got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marco Gonçalves took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Veiga. Manuel Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marco Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Veiga having to make a save. Manuel Veiga came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Parelhal's Marco Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Marco Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Cristiano Correia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Olo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Correia couldn't finish the play. Rui Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Marco Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute of the match Rui Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Veiga skillfully saved the ball. After 48 played minutes SC Olo got a freekick which was hit by André Morais. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Cristiano Correia had to leave the field with a concussion. After 55 minutes, Afonso Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Parelhal and the SC Olo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. Bento Nascimento took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Assis. Duarte Assis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of SC Olo booed when SC Parelhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diogo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Olo's Cláudio Araújo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Marco Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Diogo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Parelhal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
