Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Carril's Nuno Coimbra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jorge Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Moinhola's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rui Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Costa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nuno Coimbra sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nuno Coimbra put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Costa. 24 minutes into the game, Jorge Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pedro Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rui Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Manuel Dias's late challenge caught a SC Moinhola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Dias helped the player get up and apologised. If António Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, SC Moinhola's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Coimbra came free, but Jorge Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pedro Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SC Moinhola were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorge Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Moinhola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Teixeira in the 55th minute of play forced SC Carril's goalkeeper Pedro Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, SC Moinhola's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Coimbra came free, but Jorge Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Melo having to make a save. Jorge Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moinhola. Jorge Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Melo having to interfere. Miguel Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Nuno Coimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Jorge Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Carril's Pedro Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save SC Carril from getting a goal against them. António Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Costa having to interfere.
