Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bento Tavares made the kick off which started today's match. Gustavo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vítor Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fontinha's zone, Lourenço Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Garcia came out of the goal and Lourenço Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Joel Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Gustavo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Lourenço Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charneca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Bento Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Cunha. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 33rd match minute, Charneca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Guarda to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Charneca's Lourenço Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Mota hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Bento Tavares struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Manuel Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontinha. If Bento Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Rocha made a kick off. Marco Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lourenço Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fontinha's Manuel Nascimento got a free kick in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Charneca's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Tavares came free, but Manuel Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Tavares struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Manuel Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontinha. A collision led to Charneca getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joel Sá hit a great ball. In the 77th minute António Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If António Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes of play, Fontinha's António Miranda made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fontinha's Vítor Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Fontinha from getting a goal against them. Lourenço Guarda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 97th playminute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
