Manuel Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Charneca's Lourenço Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Diogo Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Chamoim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Lucas Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes SC Chamoim got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Neves. Joel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Cunha having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Amorim during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Charneca got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Amorim. Manuel Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Gustavo Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charneca's Gustavo Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gustavo Rocha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Charneca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Brás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diogo Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Cunha having to interfere. Gustavo Rocha struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nuno Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charneca. The supporters of Charneca booed when SC Chamoim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes SC Chamoim got a freekick which was hit by David Alves. Manuel Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Brás in the 66th minute of play. Joel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Cunha having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Chamoim defense, Gustavo Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Matos. The SC Chamoim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Matos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Chamoim's Diogo Neves got a free kick in the 80th minute. Nuno Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Rocha in the 90th minute of play.
