Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lourenço Domingues started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Carapacho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Melo came free, but Catarino Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Catarino Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Setúbal in the 6th minute of play. Sandro Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandro Antunes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes SC Pardinheira got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Setúbal. A hard shot by José Oliveira from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Lucas Pinto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sandro Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucas Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Pinto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sandro Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sandro Antunes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lucas Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carapacho FC. After 27 minutes of play SC Pardinheira's Bento Moutinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Pardinheira's André Machado got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sandro Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Lucas Pinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Lourenço Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandro Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Pinto having to interfere. Lucas Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Domingues in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Setúbal made a kick off. If Lourenço Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Domingues in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sandro Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Pinto. SC Pardinheira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. SC Pardinheira's Paulo Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Carapacho FC's Lourenço Domingues in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pardinheira's goalie prevented a goal. Sandro Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Pinto having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Carapacho FC's Lourenço Domingues made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Pinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Pardinheira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
