Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Brás started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Albertino Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Leal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Brás showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Mariz's attack was well implemented in the 14th minute, but when Jacinto Brás was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Gonçalo Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonçalo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Marco Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Ameixoeira's José Leal threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Albertino Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Monteiro having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Marco Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ameixoeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. José Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albertino Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusébio Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. José Leal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Ramos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Albertino Pedroso from a close distance when the talented Pedro Monteiro managed to make a qualified save. Ameixoeira's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Brás in the 70th minute of play forced Ameixoeira's goalkeeper Pedro Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mariz getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Delfim Machado hit a great ball. José Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Nunes in the 74th minute of play. Hugo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Leal having to interfere. Mariz's José Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Nunes in the 80th minute of play. José Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ameixoeira's Pedro Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ameixoeira from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Monteiro having to interfere. Vicente Neto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ameixoeira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Santarém was slow to take the kick. During this time Mariz's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mariz's Adolfo Santarém to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Monteiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
