Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amílcar Coelho took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, SC Monsaraz's goalkeeper Bernardo Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Pires. After a rather tough play, SC Monsaraz's Manuel Faria got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Luís Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bernardo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amílcar Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Gomes was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Boieira FC's Luís Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 played minutes SC Monsaraz got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Valente. Amílcar Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 20th play minutes Amílcar Coelho shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bernardo Gomes and just under the crossbar into goal. Amílcar Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Gomes having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Luís Pires got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 35 minutes into the match, Boieira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Domingues came free, but Joel Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Valente hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luís Pires spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Monsaraz's goal. In the 44th minute, Luís Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Freitas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SC Monsaraz getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pedro Domingues hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Monsaraz defense, Amílcar Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Gomes. The SC Monsaraz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Gomes should have stopped the shot. Delfim Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Pires in the 62nd minute of play forced SC Monsaraz's goalkeeper Bernardo Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boieira FC booed when SC Monsaraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Pires in the 70th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Augusto Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 75th match minute, Boieira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, one of SC Monsaraz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Monsaraz. The referee gave Boieira FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alexandre Correia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Monsaraz's Bernardo Gomes. 3-1. Boieira FC's Amílcar Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, SC Monsaraz's Delfim Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Anjos. Joel Anjos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Boieira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
