Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Alves started the match with the kick off. Sameiro FC's Xavier Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Marques in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sedielos FC's zone, Joaquim Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Pereira came out of the goal and Joaquim Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Santos came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Sedielos FC's Lucas Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Lucas Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Sameiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Marques came free, but Xavier Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Ferro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Joaquim Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Santos having to interfere. Ricardo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nuno Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Pereira having to interfere. The supporters of Sameiro FC booed when Sedielos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Pereira having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Júlio Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Sedielos FC defense, Gil Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Pereira. The Sedielos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Pereira should have stopped the shot. When José Marques came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sedielos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Marques couldn't finish the play. If José Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Alves in the 72nd minute of play forced Sedielos FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sameiro FC's Gil Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Pereira came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sameiro FC's Joaquim Alves. But to his dismay, Joaquim Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 89th minute Gil Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sedielos FC defense, Gil Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Pereira. The Sedielos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Pereira should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sameiro FC had played much better football throughout.
