Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Araújo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Leite showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Santrilha's zone, Delfim Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Araújo came out of the goal and Delfim Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Ricardo Martins made a precise shot to the right of Diogo Gaspar. SC Carvalhinhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ricardo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When David Leite fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Carvalhinhos's protests and gave David Leite a yellow card for diving instead. David Leite hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ricardo Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ricardo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Santrilha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Martins couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Jesus during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes SC Santrilha got a freekick which was hit by Mário Jesus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Lima got free with Jorge Araújo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SC Santrilha's Álvaro Jesus got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, SC Santrilha's Ricardo Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

SC Santrilha's Jorge Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Lima in the 64th minute of play. Bernardo Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Simão Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jorge Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, SC Carvalhinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Domingues came free, but Diogo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Bernardo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Adelino Cunha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Santrilha's Jorge Araújo didn't even have to move. Jorge Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Lima in the 80th minute of the match. Delfim Gomes struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jorge Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carvalhinhos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Lima in the 94th minute of play forced SC Santrilha's goalkeeper Jorge Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Lima's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
