Aboleira FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Laguinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Andrade came free, but João Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Andrade in the 18th minute of the match. Jorge Borges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of João Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vicente Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. João Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Paiva got free with Gonçalo Coimbra in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Vicente Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Aboleira FC's Jorge Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
