Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Maxieira's Vicente Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Sá in the 4th minute of play. Vasco Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moreira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Ferro got free with Manuel Moreira in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes, SC Maxieira's Nuno Viegas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Moreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Maxieira reached it. In the 12th match minute, Montedor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Sousa's late challenge caught a SC Maxieira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandre Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When SC Maxieira's Vasco Lisboa in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Despite this Manuel Moreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the game, one of Montedor FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vasco Lisboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Sá in the 37th minute of play forced SC Maxieira's goalkeeper Vicente Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Afonso Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Vasco Lisboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasco Lisboa was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alexandre Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Lisboa in the 57th minute of play forced Montedor FC's goalkeeper Manuel Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Vasco Lisboa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SC Maxieira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Lisboa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Montedor FC booed when SC Maxieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Viriato Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Maxieira's Vicente Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Sá in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, SC Maxieira's Vicente Castro got control of the ball when Viriato Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Sá in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Pedro Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasco Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moreira having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Montedor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Lisboa came free, but Manuel Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Maxieira's Pedro Ferro got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Maxieira had won after a very even match.
