Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Sá kicked off to start the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Daniel Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montedor FC's Manuel Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Mariano Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zimbreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montedor FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zimbreira's Mariano Pacheco got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Montedor FC got a corner. Zimbreira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Oliveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Oliveira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oliveira Pinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, Fernando Esteves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Montedor FC's Manuel Moreira. Manuel Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zimbreira's Oliveira Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Sá in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Montedor FC defense, Daniel Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Moreira. The Montedor FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Moreira should have stopped the shot. Manuel Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliveira Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Sá in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Zimbreira's Daniel Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Afonso Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Esteves to strike the kick off in the second half. Américo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Viriato Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Montedor FC's Manuel Moreira got control of the ball when Daniel Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Viriato Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Viriato Matos made a precise shot to the right of Oliveira Pinto. Zimbreira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Viriato Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Pinto having to interfere. If Fernando Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Carvalho hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Fernando Esteves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 91 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel Moreira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Viriato Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zimbreira eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
