Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Moreira came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pataeiro's Lourenço Nogueira. But to his dismay, Lourenço Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vítor Viegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Matos in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Pataeiro's Lourenço Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Matos came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vítor Viegas could save by the left post. The long shot by João Garcia in the 22nd minute really tested Vítor Viegas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Afonso Sá came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Montedor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Sá couldn't finish the play. If Viriato Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Viriato Matoss short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Vítor Viegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moreira having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, André Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pataeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Montedor FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pataeiro were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lourenço Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. André Gaspars short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Manuel Moreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vítor Viegas came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Montedor FC's Afonso Sá. But to his dismay, Afonso Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Manuel Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Afonso Sá fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montedor FC's protests and gave Afonso Sá a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Montedor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Nogueira came free, but Manuel Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pataeiro booed when Montedor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Afonso Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Nogueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Gaspar got free with Manuel Moreira in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lourenço Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Manuel Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pataeiro. After 81 minutes, Joaquim Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montedor FC and the Pataeiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. 83 minutes into the game, Montedor FC's Afonso Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Viegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Afonso Sá came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Montedor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd match minute, Pataeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Viriato Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montedor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Pataeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Sá came free, but Vítor Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Sá in the 98th minute of the match.
