This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed André Carvalho as he didn't even see the shot coming. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Pedroso couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the SC Cobertinha defense, Lourenço Aleixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Carvalho. The SC Cobertinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Carvalho should have stopped the shot. SC Fitoiro's Rui Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Fitoiro from getting a goal against them. Oliveira Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Cobertinha getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Artur Cunha hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on SC Fitoiro's corner Joaquim Gueifão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Carvalho quite easily take care of the ball. The referee ignored SC Fitoiro's protests and gave Joaquim Gueifão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, SC Cobertinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Pedroso to maneuver through the defense.
