Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fábio Correia started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alumiara FC's Domingos Fonseca got a free kick in the 5th minute. Diamantino Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bernardo Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, one of Alumiara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for SC Silhaes. David Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Faria. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, SC Silhaes's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Correia came free, but Jorge Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Silhaes getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gaspar Sousa hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, one of Alumiara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bernardo Faria, was totally fooled by SC Silhaes's David Lima, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Daniel Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Correia in the 34th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino Gomes to make the kick off. Daniel Moraiss short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Jorge Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diamantino Gomes took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Faria. Bernardo Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, SC Silhaes's Gaspar Sousa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Correia in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Magalhães saved SC Silhaes from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Alumiara FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Silhaes:s goal. David Lima shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Júlio Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Faria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Júlio Moniz scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Silhaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardo Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Silhaes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alumiara FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
