Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Espiche's Gustavo Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucas Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, SC Espiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Amorim to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Espiche getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carlos Porto hit a great ball. Domingos Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Vaz in the 13th minute of play. Miguel Leiria scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Casconho FC's zone, Gustavo Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Amorim came out of the goal and Gustavo Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Basílio Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casconho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, SC Espiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Porto to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Freitas having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Afonso Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Porto was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC Espiche's Carlos Porto got a free kick in the 49th minute. Lucas Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. Basílio Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Leiria in the 67th minute of play forced Casconho FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Bruno Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes Casconho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexandre Anjos who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alexandre Anjos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacinto Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lucas Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casconho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 played minutes SC Espiche got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Correia. Catarino Correia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Basílio Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Viana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 93 minute of play. Cristiano Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Catarino Correia, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Afonso Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. In the 101st minute, Catarino Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
