Domingos Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Miguel Leiria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Pinho having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Almodofa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Neto to maneuver through the defense. SC Espiche's Alexandre Anjos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Almodofa FC. Miguel Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Pinho was a little too slow when Gustavo Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1.
