Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Laseira's Henrique Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Laseira were furious when Vicente Costa was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of SC Laseira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Aljurica:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for SC Aljurica. Inácio Lisboa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gil Tavares. 0-1. After a rather tough play, SC Aljurica's Pedro Pires got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vítor Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gil Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Aljurica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Inácio Lisboa hit a great ball. Diogo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Tavares having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Armindo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Aljurica's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diogo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gil Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Leiria in the 29th minute of play forced SC Laseira's goalkeeper Gil Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Faria hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Inácio Lisboa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Laseira's Gil Tavares didn't even have to move. Gil Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Tavares having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Leiria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Inácio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gil Tavares made a huge save. If Vítor Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Lisboa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Diogo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Tavares having to interfere. Gil Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Melo in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Laseira's zone, Diogo Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Tavares came out of the goal and Diogo Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Fernando Delgado notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Aljurica's Fernando Figueiredo. Fernando Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Leiria in the 89th minute of play forced SC Laseira's goalkeeper Gil Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Faria during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Luís Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Aljurica's Inácio Lisboa tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Luís Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Laseira and the SC Aljurica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, SC Laseira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Jesus to maneuver through the defense.
