Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Cardoso kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Luís Cardoso sped through Espindelo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Vieira. 10 minutes into the match, Fontelo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Amaral came free, but Jorge Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fontelo! In the 27th minute, Mariano Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Vieira having to interfere. Luís Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luís Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fontelo's Jorge Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Baptista in the 52nd minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 54th minute when António Baptista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match Alexandre Ribeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Luís Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Baptista scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Espindelo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fábio Pereira hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fontelo's Jorge Castro got control of the ball when Tomás Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Sousa in the 76th minute of play forced Espindelo FC's goalkeeper Luís Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Espindelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Teixeira. 81 minutes into the game, one of Espindelo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Fontelo. Nuno Pacheco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Vieira. 2-3. If Luís Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Baptista in the 97th minute of play forced Fontelo's goalkeeper Jorge Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Espindelo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
