Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Baptista got the match started through his kick off. Fábio Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Fernando Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes SC Silveira got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Leite. When Tomás Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Espindelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Amaral couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, SC Silveira's Paulo Tavares got control of the ball when Tomás Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Diogo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that António Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Tavares was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Espindelo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mário Pinto in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the game, António Baptista lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Paulo Tavares. Paulo Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Antunes made a kick off. Mariano Ferro's late challenge caught a SC Silveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Espindelo FC's Mariano Ferro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Diogo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Espindelo FC's Luís Vieira got control of the ball when Rodrigo Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. António Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Diogo Antunes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Diogo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Paulo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Tavares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Silveira's zone, António Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Tavares came out of the goal and António Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paulo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Mariano Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
