After 21 minutes of play, Queijadaes's Jacinto Maia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Morais was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of SC Pessolta booed when Queijadaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Gabriel Borba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Queijadaes's Inácio Gueifão didn't even have to move. João Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Gueifão having to interfere. João Costa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Inácio Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pessolta. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nuno Ferro fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queijadaes's protests and gave Nuno Ferro a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Amadeu Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pessolta's zone, Fernando Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Morais came out of the goal and Fernando Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Maia in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute Gaspar Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Gaspar Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queijadaes's Inácio Gueifão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fernando Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Henrique Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, SC Pessolta's João Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Gueifão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Gaspar Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Queijadaes's Inácio Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Setúbal in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Pessolta's Abel Simões got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pessolta's goalkeeper Daniel Morais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The SC Pessolta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Queijadaes's performance. The match ended with a win for Queijadaes.
