Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Luz kicked off to start the match. Bonitos's Gustavo Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cintra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Gustavo Luz scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Melo, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Maia in the 12th minute of play forced Bonitos's goalkeeper Basílio Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Bonitos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Maia came free, but Basílio Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Maia's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Emílio Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Melo having to make a save. In the 24th minute Cristiano Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Jorge Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Santos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes, Cintra FC's Manuel Borba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basílio Martins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cintra FC reached it. Basílio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Leiria in the 29th minute of the match. When Rogério Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cintra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Leiria couldn't finish the play. Basílio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Maia in the 32nd minute of the match. If Rogério Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Maia in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Martins saved Bonitos from getting behind. Cintra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Joel Santos scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Melo, making the score, 2-0. Bonitos's Basílio Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Leiria in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Cintra FC's Cristiano Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cintra FC booed when Bonitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Basílio Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Maia to make the kick off. Cintra FC's Rogério Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Leiria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Martins having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Maia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Basílio Martins, passed just outside the right post. In the 68th minute, Cristiano Maia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute Cristiano Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cintra FC's zone, Emílio Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Melo came out of the goal and Emílio Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emílio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Cintra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Luz came free, but Alfredo Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Emílio Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Melo. Cintra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emílio Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Bonitos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jorge Henriques hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bonitos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cintra FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
