Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albertino Leal got the match started through his kick off. Gil Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bento Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Pinheiros booed when Maroufenha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maroufenha FC were furious when Armando Garcia was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for SC Pinheiros. Carlos Alves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bento Lisboa. 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Augusto Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pinheiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albertino Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Baptista in the 27th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Coimbra charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Augusto Morais fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Álvaro Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Maroufenha FC's Bento Lisboa got control of the ball when Gil Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Álvaro Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Valente having to interfere. Maroufenha FC's Bento Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Leal in the 95th minute of play. When Alexandre Leal came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SC Pinheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Leal couldn't finish the play. SC Pinheiros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
