Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Dantas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Raul Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes, Raul Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavacolhos FC and the Silvalde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lavacolhos FC's Raul Marques got a free kick in the 6th minute. António Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Pedro Dantas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Silvalde FC's António Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Lavacolhos FC's goalkeeper Augusto Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Freitas. Raul Marques took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Coelho. João Coelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Domingos Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Lavacolhos FC's Lourenço Branco in action when he in the 25th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! João Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Raul Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Coelho having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Raul Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. João Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Marques's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Augusto Branco was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and António Freitas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. António Freitas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 44th minute Pedro Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Lavacolhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Melo. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavacolhos FC's goalkeeper Augusto Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvalde FC's Pedro Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Lavacolhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Bessa. After a defensive mix-up in Silvalde FC's zone, Rogério Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Coelho came out of the goal and Rogério Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes, Gonçalo Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silvalde FC and the Lavacolhos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Branco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Abreu in the 78th minute of play forced Lavacolhos FC's goalkeeper Augusto Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Silvalde FC's João Coelho got control of the ball when Vítor Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Marques in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Lavacolhos FC's Rogério Bessa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
