The supporters of SC Enxabarda booed when Niza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Gueifão spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Enxabarda's goal. Heitor Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Gueifão in the 12th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Júlio Coelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquim Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Guarda having to interfere. Joaquim Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vasco Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Guarda made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Júlio Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Gueifão in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Joaquim Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasco Guarda. Niza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Niza's Francisco Gueifão in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vasco Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Gueifão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for SC Enxabarda. Paulo Martins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vasco Guarda. 2-0. When Júlio Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SC Enxabarda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Coelho couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Fernando Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Enxabarda the free kick. After a rather tough play, Niza's Fernando Machado got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 75th minute Francisco Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Leiria got free with Heitor Dias in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Joaquim Correia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Niza's Vasco Guarda. Vasco Guarda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rodrigo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, SC Enxabarda's Joaquim Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Guarda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Francisco Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Heitor Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Enxabarda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
