Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Moreira started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Inácio Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Abreu. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Contriz FC's Ricardo Oliveira got a free kick in the 13th minute. Henrique Matos shot a long shot in the 14th minute and a light blocked Artur Abreu hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. If Inácio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Abreu having to interfere. Gonçalo Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cândido Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Moniz in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Arega's goalkeeper Cândido Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Abreu having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Artur Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Moreira in the 52nd minute of the match. Gonçalo Moniz kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Arega's keeper Cândido Borges was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gonçalo Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cândido Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Moreira in the 59th minute of play forced Contriz FC's goalkeeper Artur Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Henrique Matos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Abreu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Contriz FC's Artur Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Marques in the 63rd minute of play. Artur Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Marques in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Gonçalo Moniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 80 minutes into the game, Mário Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contriz FC the free kick. Mário Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Duarte Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Borges having to interfere. Cândido Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Moniz in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Trindade in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Borges saved SC Arega from getting behind.
