Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Valente took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aboim FC's Fernando Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Aleixo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Manuel Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Manuel Alves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 15th minute of the match Carlos Martins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Paiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, SC Caixaria's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Valente came free, but Augusto Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Coelho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Joaquim Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Alves in the 27th minute of the match. Augusto Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Valente's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Caixaria's Manuel Alves got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Afonso Vieira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Martins was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alexandre Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Augusto Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Afonso Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Caixaria's Augusto Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Valente in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Dias got free with Augusto Paiva in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Augusto Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Vieira in the 61st minute of play forced Aboim FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afonso Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Afonso Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Joaquim Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The attack was good, but when Manuel Alves in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 80 played minutes Aboim FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Valente. Augusto Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alexandre Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Afonso Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fernando Dias came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Aboim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Dias couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that SC Caixaria were the better team. SC Caixaria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
