Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Melo got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Matos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Regoufe's Rafael Dias. Rafael Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abel Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Panascos's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Araújo came free, but Duarte Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Gonçalo Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regoufe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Regoufe's Gonçalo Araújo in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panascos's goalie prevented a goal. Gonçalo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Duarte Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Abel Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute Abel Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Alberto Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Regoufe's Alberto Vale got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Regoufe were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Leiria hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fernando Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Dias was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Abel Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Panascos's Gonçalo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Gonçalo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panascos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Panascos's Gonçalo Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Araújo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Esteves saved Panascos from getting behind. Abel Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Regoufe booed when Panascos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Gonçalo Matos made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Dias. Regoufe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 89 minutes into the game, Panascos's Gonçalo Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Fernando Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rafael Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Matos struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rafael Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panascos. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
