In the 8th minute, Henrique Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Zabreira getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. In the 29th minute Paulo Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave SC Zabreira a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Panascos's Duarte Esteves. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Américo Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gonçalo Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Porto during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, SC Zabreira's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Melo came free, but Afonso Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Zabreira's Afonso Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Melo in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Manuel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Manuel Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zabreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gonçalo Matos could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Afonso Soares however easily saved by the left post. Manuel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, SC Zabreira's Manuel Rodrigues made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 100th minute SC Zabreira were awarded a corner. João Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on SC Zabreira's corner João Alves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Esteves quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Zabreira fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panascos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
