Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Dias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of SC Balcas booed when Meceares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedroso was a little too slow when Lourenço Miranda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Manuel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Queirós having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Rodrigo Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Jorge Pedroso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Queirós skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, SC Balcas's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Miranda came free, but João Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. SC Balcas's Hugo Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Bessa in the 38th minute. If Gustavo Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lourenço Miranda to make the kick off. With his leg David Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when SC Balcas's Hugo Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Queirós came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Henrique Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Queirós having to interfere. Gustavo Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Miranda in the 72nd minute of play. When Rafael Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Balcas's protests and gave Rafael Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, SC Balcas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Cabral to maneuver through the defense. When Hugo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SC Balcas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Almeida couldn't finish the play. João Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Almeida hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes SC Balcas got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Cabral. In the 93rd minute, Henrique Morais sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Balcas's João Pedroso didn't even have to move. Meceares FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
