Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Branco started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Cândido Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Francisco Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podame FC's protests and gave Francisco Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Podame FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Heitor Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Branco in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Cruz during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Cruz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Podame FC's goalkeeper Bruno Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rodrigo Castro fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Melroeira's protests and gave Rodrigo Castro a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vasco Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podame FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Podame FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Moura. In the 37th minute of the match Júlio Gueifão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Alves skillfully saved the ball. When Francisco Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Podame FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Miranda couldn't finish the play. After having played for 46 minutes, Vasco Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podame FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Assis to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, SC Melroeira's Bruno Alves threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusébio Assis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 53 minutes, Tiago Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Melroeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Heitor Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Vasco Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Melroeira's Heitor Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Eusébio Assis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Alves. The goal made the score 0-1. Eusébio Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th play minute Tiago Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Alves. 0-2. Bruno Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Torres in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Rodrigues in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Torres scored 0-4 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Podame FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Melroeira's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Melroeira.
