Luís Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vasco Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alberto Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bicas's Alberto Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Resende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bicas's zone, Vasco Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Resende came out of the goal and Vasco Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bruno Alves made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Podame FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Delgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Eusébio Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Bicas's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Branco came free, but Alberto Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Gueifão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Alves came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Gueifão slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute.
The wind increased when Alberto Gueifão made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Podame FC's Gabriel Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Resende having to interfere. Alberto Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Branco in the 59th minute of the match. Alberto Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Miranda in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gabriel Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podame FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Delgado's late challenge caught a Bicas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. João Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Alberto Gueifão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Alves. Podame FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Gueifão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With 79 minutes on the clock, Eduardo Nogueira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Rodrigues got free with Alberto Resende in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Alves having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bicas had won after a very even match.
